Social issues range from; race, multicultural issues, divorce, & adoption. History issues; American history (as applied to racial segregation – Boston late ‘50’s / early ‘60’s), World History (Armenian Genocide of 1915) Personal issues; choices (right vs. wrong, societal pressures, living with our decisions), forgiveness, finding a father (or other family member), and acceptance/identity. Depending on the grade level, each of these curriculum issues may apply in different ways.
